I started to suspect that there was something awry in “she-who-shall-remain-unnamed”s (SWSRU) “feedback” and that it wasn’t totally meant to be helpful, so I posted in response a rather long message about what I was feeling and going through, hardly whining, and still thanking her (very graciously I might add) for trying to help.
For someone who depicts herself as blunt and straight forward the response was very contorted. On the surface, within one forum it was pretty straight forward, but then– wander over to LJ and whoa! Ugly yarn? Stupid website? I smell a passive-aggressive personality with some blaming issues.
I could kiss you Darling SWSRU. Because what you are doing for me (sending the curious over to see for themselves) is one of the best things for a website ever! I get free traffic, my stats go up, some industrious soul might even start blogging on the flames and giving us both outside links (which will totally help my rankings)
I could care less what you say about me, my yarn and my sites– people can read and form their own opinions. Well, not if they are using a Safari browser (like you bwwahahaha!)
Oh and as indiscreet as this post might seem to make publicly it will do one of two things
- Provoke you to send more people to my website
- Get you to STFU
So either way, I win.
P.S. Your yarn would have to climb a 10 foot ladder before it’s even close to being good enough to kiss my yarn’s butt.

I was actually considering reincarnating the CZ list, the only thing that holds me back is that there are some other really great newer lists where most of our members migrated, and to bring back CZ might kill some of those lists if there’s a mass migration.
