yarn! yarn, do you hear me? yarn!
I finished the third bobbin of cotton singles. I now have a much smaller pile of unspun cotton, small enough to shove all of it in a sandwich bag and put it back in the stash.
Three plies on three bobbins. Three glorious bobbins.
And I’m plying the yarn now. Yay! Yay for me! It’s like a dream come true. Plying.
I’m in the final stretch. Finishing the third bobbing definitely lent me a second wind.
I’m still in a quandery as to how I should use this yarn. Upon consideration, it seems like doilies won’t represent the time and effort that went into this yarn. I think what might represent the time and effort would be a large sign with an arrow pointing to the yarn in a glass case declaring “This took for-frickin’-ever to spin.” What do you think?
Way to go on getting that cotton spun up! I’m really not sure what to do with that yarn. Maybe you should put it away and create some emotional space from it.
Good advice. That might do the trick.
